Carthorse Cottage is a luxury two storey, 3 bed roomed barn conversion, in a corner part of the courtyard. It has beautiful sea views looking out mainly towards Whitby.
The ground floor with disabled access consists of a double bedroom with a super king-size bed which can be divided into two singles if preferred. Next door is a wet room in which shower chair and grab rails can be added if required.
The remainder of the ground floor is a large open plan living room which is light and spacious with fully fitted oak kitchen with granite worktops and an original shire horse stall dividing the lounge and dining areas.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one double with king-size bed and a spacious twin bedded room, all bedrooms are equipped with TVs. Also on the first floor is a second bathroom with large walk in shower and jacuzzi bath. The cottage retains all the original beams and roof trusses, with solid oak floors throughout the upstairs and flagged floors downstairs, warmed by under floor heating. A lovely outdoor patio directly outside with stunning views towards Whitby Abbey and enjoying extended sunlight hours.
